A special physics class for the secondary school students
On the first day of the interactive truck's stay in Szekszárd, Attila Aszódi held a lecture for hundreds of students in the Babits Mihály Cultural Centre. The government commissioner talked about electricity and nuclear energy during an „irregular physics class”. The lecture started with basic physical concepts which were easier for the students to understand, then continued with the national and international power generation and consumption, and ended with the introduction of nuclear energy and the maintenance of the performance of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant.
The students can test or increase their knowledge about electricity and the nuclear energy after the lecture in the interactive truck staying in Garay Square.
The visitors can get to know the past, present and future of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. The interactive boards present the location of the nuclear power plants in the world, their production data, the national electricity system and the role of the nuclear power plant. They also have information regarding the operation of the nuclear power plant, the Paks II. investment and its details, and the environmental, economic and social effects of the current and planned power plant units and even their technical parameters.
