The event, held for the ninth time and organised by the Same blood foundation, aims to raise awareness of charity, blood donation and the solidarity of Hungarians. This year the program started in Bonyhád and will end in Gyergyószárhegy. The 740 km run will be marked by the possibility to join the sportsmen and women who will complete the whole distance, at each of the stations.

At the first stop in Bonyhád, where a blood donation was also held, the runners included Paks II. sportsmen, most of whom accompanied the athletes to Grábóc, but there were also some who completed the half-marathon and some who took part in the blood donation.

Before the start, Péter Rákóczi, communications director of Paks II. Ltd., emphasized that they are happy to join any initiative in the region that serves good causes. The Same blood run is such an event, as it draws attention to important issues such as selflessness - be it charity or blood donation - and solidarity.

The Same blood charity event will donate sports shoes to ten children's charities, followed by a festival for 500 children in need. This year's event will be organised in the framework of the "Move Bonyhád! 2023” series, which was attended by local and nationally renowned athletes, Olympians and hundreds of children, in addition to Paks II. Ltd. Among the runners this year was János Árpád Potápi, State Secretary for National Policy.
