The Paks II. truck starts its yearly information round trip

The Paks II. interactive truck starts its round trip on 25 March 2019 on Kisbér. The vehicle is going to visit Komárom-Esztergom, Fejér and Pest county cities and eight summer festivals, and for the first time it will be there on Construma trade show. The range of options offered by the truck was further broadened.

The interactive truck of Paks II. starts its country round trip on 25 March with a renewed content. The first stop is Kisbér, and it is going to visit the major cities and towns of Komárom-Esztergom, Fejér and Pest counties, some districts of Budapest and eight summer festivals. For the first time the mobile exhibit is going to be on Construma trade show, which will be held between 3-7 April at Hungexpo. Besides this route, it is going to visit several events, for example, the Town Day of Paks, which was highly successful, as the biggest number of visitors was registered there last year, more than one thousand people.

The truck which hosted sixty thousand visitors was renewed internally and externally, the vehicle is available for people with disabilities. Information was updated, the equipment was refreshed and broadened. The new games await the children, while the energy producing bicycle which is very popular among visitors was changed for a newer version too. The content of the information interactive board is available in English as well, given the high number of foreign visitors at certain events and festivals. A new, fourth interactive board offers video games for little children, which offers some insight for them in a playful manner about electricity and nuclear power plants.

 The mobile exhibition of Paks II. Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. „brings home” the most important information about the safe and climate friendly use of nuclear energy, the important role of the Paks NPP in the domestic energy production and the construction of the two new nuclear power plant units in a modern and interactive way.

Those who visit can gain insight about the milestones of the Paks II. project, the importance of the investment, the social, economical and environmental effects. The guests can see photos of milestones and events of the project, can watch short films about the 3+ gen. VVER-1200 reactor and take a virtual tour in a nuclear power plant similar to the planned NPP of Paks.

According to the plans in 2020 the truck is going on to Pest, Somogy and Baranya counties, and it is also going to visit EDUCATIO International Education Expo.
