The government commissioner presented the preludes of the environmental and site licensing, their status and he also spoke about the environmental impacts of the establishment and operation of the new units, and the results of the site investigation and licensing during the Tolna County Defense Committee’s 30 Marc 2017 session.

At the press conference following the event Dr. Kálmán Horváth government official, president of the Tolna County Defense Committee summarized the subjects mentioned at the session, then Dr. Attila Aszódi government commissioner answered the reporters’ questions regarding the Paks II. investment.

Dr. Attila Aszódi confirmed the results mentioned at the Committee’s session, that thanks to constructive cooperation of the European Union and Hungary there’s no EU obstacle in the way, the site works can start in 2018.
