Nuclear power plant operation engineer training is already underway at four universities

Nuclear power plant operation engineer training has started in September at four universities as part of Paks II. Academy, while in Veszprém and Pécs the course is going to start in January 2020 in a cross semester.

Paks II. Ltd. compiled the curriculum in cooperation for Paks II. Academy with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), University of Pécs, University of Debrecen, University of Pannonia, University of Miskolc and University of Dunaújváros. The training costs are financed by Paks II. Ltd. therefore the course is free of charge for the students.

There is a great interest in the Paks II Academy. The universities where the program started in September are already full, moreover in Debrecen three students joined the course via self-financing. In BME 30, in Dunaújváros 20, in Miskolc 10, while in Debrecen 13 students started their training of the nuclear power plant operation engineer course.

The University of Pannonia and the University of Pécs are going to start the training in early 2020.
