This year’s country tour of the interactive truck bearing the logo ‘Energy for Our Future’ began at the foot of the castle of Pipó of Ozora in Ozora. In 2014, the mobile information centre will visit municipalities with populations between 1,500 and 5,000 in Tolna, Bács-Kiskun, Fejér, Somogy and Baranya counties. According to plans, naturally, this year’s stops will also include large festivals in Hungary.

On the initiative of MVM Ltd. and MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd., the information truck presenting the operation of the nuclear power plant and the establishment of its new units and providing information about nuclear energy set out on its country tour in October 2009. The mobile exhibition ‘brings’ information about the present and future of the nuclear power plant to ‘homes’, and presents the safe operation of the nuclear power plant and its beneficial effects on the Hungarian economy, society and environmental protection.

We regularly publish photos taken at the stops of the lorry together with points of interest about the municipalities on our Facebook page. Follow us and follow the Energy for Our Future.
